COVID-19: Streets deserted as Goa observes weekend lockdown

Panaji (Goa), July 17 (ANI): Streets wore a deserted look in Goa’s Panaji as the state observed weekend lockdown on July 18. The state government has announced 'Janata Curfew' between 8 pm and 6 am till August 10. Section 144 has been imposed to avoid unnecessary public movement to contain the spread of COVID-19. There are over 1,270 active cases of coronavirus in Goa.
