COVID-19: Transgender community extend assistance to the needy in Varanasi

Varanasi (Uttar Pradesh), Mar 29(ANI): As the poor are reeling under the nationwide lockdown amid the coronavirus pandemic, transgenders came forward to extend help to the needy people in Varanasi. The transgender community not just provided the essentials but also provided monetary help. Social distancing and other precautionary measures were followed during the distribution. They requested the people of Kashi to follow the precautionary measures as directed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and stay at home.
