COVID-19: Waiting for test kits from ICMR, says Kerala Health Minister

Thiruvananthapuram (Kerala), Apr 24 (ANI): Kerala Health Minister, KK Shailaja said that they are waiting for good kits from Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) in wake of coronavirus outbreak. She said, “We got some kits from ICMR but when we tried to do testing from it, the kits were not in good condition. We had informed ICMR about that. We are waiting for good kits from ICMR. We have also ordered some test kits. Once we get the test kits, we will validate them, and once we confirm the quality of the kits, we will do the antibody tests.”
