COVID-19: We’ve wiped out Rs 18 lakh crore from Indian economy in last 50 days, says Manish Tewari

New Delhi, May 11 (ANI): While speaking to ANI in the national capital on May 11 amid coronavirus pandemic, the Congress leader Manish Tewari said, “Prime Minister Narendra Modi will conduct conference with the chief ministers today in the afternoon but there are certain set of facts which they will have to take a hard look at.” “On one hand, the number of total COVID-19 cases has crossed 65, 000 and the Indian economy has been demolished. The cost of each day of lockdown is about Rs 30,000 crore and we have wiped out Rs 18 lakh crore from our economy in the last 50 days,” he added.
