COVID-19: Women constables sew masks for needy at Delhi police station

New Delhi, Apr 12(ANI): Where the whole world is trying to fight with COVID-19 virus, Delhi police women constables are sewing masks and sanitizers at Greater Kailash police station for the poor people who are not capable of buying it. The initiate started with a team of 3 women constables, who brought their sewing machines after they received a call from unknown people for not wearing masks. Speaking to ANI, Sunni, one of the three women said that it feels very good when you help people who are in need. “I use these masks myself too, you can wash them and sanitize every day, poor people cannot spend money in purchasing masks every day,” she added. Greater Kailash Police station, SHO, Somnath said, “We are also preparing sanitizers by our own and giving it to people who are in need.”
