COVID vaccine: Jharkhand is being treated unfairly, says state Health Minister

Ranchi (Jharkhand), May 13 (ANI): Jharkhand Health Minister Banna Gupta complained that the state is being treated unfairly when as of the 1,057 oxygen plants set up by Central government; only 1 was set up in Jharkhand. "We've ordered 25 lakh doses of each vaccine (Covishield and Covaxin) but we received just 1,34,000 doses of Covaxin and 1 lakh doses of Covishield. Jharkhand is being treated unfairly. Centre govt has taken decision to set up 1057 oxygen plants but Jharkhand got only one," said Health Minister Banna Gupta.
