Cyclone Biparjoy: CM Ashok Gehlot met affected people in Sanchore, Sirohi

Jaipur (Rajasthan) June 21 (ANI): Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot conducted an aerial survey of the Cyclone Biparjoy-affected areas in Sanchore and Sirohi. Along with this, he met the people affected by the cyclone. The Chief Minister took feedback from public representatives, officials and the general public about the loss caused by Cyclone Biparjoy. During this, he directed the concerned officials that the loss caused to the people should be resolved immediately. On this occasion, the Chief Minister said that SDRF, NDRF, Civil Defence, Aapda Mitra have done remarkable work to provide relief to the common people in this calamity. He said that in the preliminary assessment, 8,700 kutcha houses and 225 school buildings have been damaged. There has been partial damage in about 35 thousand houses. 8,500 electric poles and about 2,000 transformers have also been damaged in the state. He said that after conducting the survey, compensation would be made available to the victims, as per the rules. He directed the officials to repair the roads and ensure the power supply at the earliest.
