Daughter of Sushma Swaraj, new co-convenor of Delhi BJP’s legal cell, Bansuri Swaraj defends Smriti Irani

New Delhi, March 27 (ANI): Speaking to ANI, Former Union Minister Sushma Swaraj’s daughter Bansuri Swaraj defended Smriti Irani and said that the incident remarks of the Youth Congress president shows the mentality of the Congress. Adding further, she said that Congress can’t tolerate the defeat of Rahul Gandhi in his bastion and are making such remarks. She said, “Indecent remarks of the Youth Congress president shows the mentality of the Congress. Smriti Irani is our big leader who defeated Rahul Gandhi in his bastion. They can't tolerate that and are making such remarks.” Furthermore, she expressed, “I am quite lucky that the party (BJP) gave me opportunity to be the co-convenor of party's Delhi State Legal cell. PM Modi said that women's empowerment must be led by women themselves. We'll ensure we work for financial and digital literacy of women.”
