DCGI permits CMC Vellore to start trial on mixing of COVID vaccines

New Delhi, Sep 14 (ANI): The Drugs Controller General of India (DCGI) gave permission to CMC Vellore to start trial on mixing of COVID-19 vaccines, said Secretary of Department of Biotechnology, Dr Renu Swarup. “Biological E is very advanced in its trials. They have parallelly their vaccine manufacturing is underway... When the vaccine will actually roll out depends on a number of things. We are confident it'll be good as so far it has shown very interesting results,” said Dr Renu Swarup. “We need more scientific data to get more clarity,” she added.
