Dehradun administration tracking people in home quarantine using GPS

Dehradun (Uttarakhand), May 09 (ANI): Dehradun administration has come with up technological savvy ways to keep a check on those in home quarantine to prevent spread of COVID-19. The administration is using GPS tracking application. Once downloaded into mobile phone of quarantined person, the app sends alerts to Dehradun’s command and control centre. Alerts are generated if there is no activity on the mobile phone for 30 minutes, so that COVID-19 patient cannot roam outside market putting phone at home.
