Delhi-UP border sealed amid COVID-19 lockdown

New Delhi, Apr 08 (ANI): Travellers at Delhi-Uttar Pradesh border are going through beefed up security due to nationwide lockdown over coronavirus outbreak. Delhi Police are allowing only those individuals availing or rendering essential services on April 08. Police checked passes and identity cards of people amid the movement of vehicles during coronavirus lockdown. There are total 604 confirmed cases of coronavirus in Delhi including seven deaths and 21 cured. According to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, the total number of COVID-19 active cases rose to 4643 in India and 149 deaths.
