Delhi govt announces Rs 1,051 crore for MCD to pay salaries

New Delhi, May 15 (ANI): Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia on May 15 announced that Delhi government has issued an amount of Rs 1,051 crore for Municipal Corporation of Delhi. Deputy CM said, “Delhi Government has issued an amount of Rs 1,051 crore for MCDs. We hope that this will be used to pay the salary of the MCD staffers who have not been getting the salary. We also hope that the regime of the MCD will ensure that this will not be diverted anywhere else.”
