Delhi Police arrest 3 interstate illegal ‘ganja’ suppliers

New Delhi, Oct 11 (ANI): Delhi Police apprehended three accused namely Rakesh, Krishan and Aman, who were indulged in illegal ‘ganja’ supply in the national capital. The police team received secret information that some drug traffickers would come to the Najafgarh area to supply illegal ‘ganja’. As per the information, the police team laid a trap at said place. At midnight, one container truck reached there and at the instance of a secret informer, the police team overpowered all the accused. On preliminary inquiry, they try to mislead the police team but after sustained interrogation, they confessed about their involvement in the supply of illegal ‘ganja’. During interrogation, it is revealed that the body of the recovered truck was modified by them to conceal the illegal ‘ganja’ during transportation. They procured ‘ganja’ from Visakhapatnam. Accused Rakesh and Krishan are previously involved in excise act cases of Delhi and Rajasthan. Police recovered 210 Kg high quality illegal ‘ganja’ worth about Rs 1 crore from their possession. Further investigation is going on.
