Delhi Police arrest wanted criminal from Uttar Pradesh

New Delhi, November 15(ANI): The crime branch of Delhi Police has arrested a wanted criminal Lokesh Dixit. Lokesh, who was a drug addict, took to theft and robbery to fulfil his daily needs. He worked as a driver for a businessman. One day, Lokesh found an opportunity when the businessman took him along on a tour of his property in the Anand Vihar area. He fled with 3.5 lakh rupees in the car. He abandoned the car at a secluded place in Madhu Vihar. During the investigation, it came to light that Lokesh was hiding at his original residence in Hamirpur district of Uttar Pradesh, where the police raided and arrested him. The police have also recovered a motorcycle from his possession that he had purchased with stolen money.
