Delhi Police busts gang indulged in black marketing of Oxygen gas regulators

New Delhi, 10 May (ANI): With the arrest of 4 persons New Delhi District of Delhi Police busted a gang which was duping relatives of covid positive patients on the pretext of providing Oxygen gas regulators. Police received information regarding the sale of oxygen to the needy people on social media. On the basis of information, a case was registered and further investigation was taken up. During the course of investigation, police contacted the given mobile number and the user was identified as Rajesh. On his identification, the accused was examined and he stated that due to covid crisis, the demand of oxygen regulators is very high. He along with one person namely Mahmood sold them on high rates due to non-availability of regulators. As per the given information by the accused, a police team reached the spot at Ram Nagar, Nabi Karim, and recovered a total 38 oxygen regulators and gloves from the possession of two persons. Further investigation is underway and more recovery is expected after further arrests.
