Delhi Police offers roses and masks to locals in return of gratitude gesture

New Delhi, Mar 22 (ANI): In return of splendid gesture shown by local residents, North-West Delhi police on March 22 decided to distribute flowers and masks. People came out in their balconies in large number to thank the essential service workers on the request of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. “The initiative begins from the police station itself. I have sensitized and briefed my staff intensively about the quarantine and hospitals which are well-equipped with coronavirus test facilities” Ashok Vihar SHO Arti Sharma told ANI. At 5’o clock on March 22, thousands of people clapped and clang bells from their balconies while observing ‘Janta Curfew’. With this gesture, they expressed gratitude to the essential service providers who are working tirelessly to bring comfort to citizens of India.
