Delhi Police's massive crackdown on organised crime

New Delhi, May 04(ANI): In a major move to break the backbone of organised crime, Delhi Police carried out a massive raid and search operation in Delhiā€™s Dwarka and its outskirts. For the operation, Delhi Police constituted 21 teams comprising 300 police personnel and conducted simultaneous searches at 15 locations in Delhi and six locations in Haryana. These raids were carried out to search for associates of the Kapil Sangwan gang. Police team arrested six criminals and detained 20 others during the operation. Arrested were identified as Nitin Narula, Nikhil, Rajpal, Deepak, Mohit and Jitender Dahiya. The action was taken in connection with a murder case of a person named Surendra in Bindapur area of Dwarka. Police have already nabbed eight accused involved in this murder case. During the search operation, police seized a bullet proof SUV, three illegal weapons, seven rounds of ammunition, 22-gram heroin, 73 grams of amphetamine and Rs 20 lakh cash money from various locations.
