DFCCIL conducts inspection run on New Rewari - New Phulera section

New Rewari (Haryana), September 1 (ANI): Dedicated Freight Corridor Corporation of India Limited (DFCCIL) successfully conducted Rail Car run between New Rewari – New Phulera section to check any type of technical flaw at the earliest. The 244 Km long New Rewari - Phulera section is a part of Western Dedicated Freight Corridor (WDFC). New Rewari – New Phulera section falls between Haryana and Rajasthan. There are 9 newly built Dedicated Freight Corridor stations in this section, six crossing stations (i.e. New Dabla, New Bhagega, New Sri Madhopur, New Pachar Malikpur, New Sakun and New Kishangarh) and three junction stations (i.e. New Rewari, New Ateli and New Phulera). This section contains 16 major bridges and viaduct (1 viaduct & 15 major bridges), 270 minor bridges, 4 Rail Fly Overs, 19 Road Over Bridges & 178 road under bridges. DFCCIL will run freight train at the maximum speed of 100 km/per hour as against the current maximum speed of 75 kmph on Indian Railways tracks. The opening of this stretch will benefit various industries in Rewari – Manesar, Narnaul, Phulera & Kishangarh areas of Rajasthan & Haryana.
