Digitalisation takes front seat in Jammu; city all set to turn ‘smart’ under Smart City Project

Jammu (J&K), April 06 (ANI): Jammu and Kashmir’s Jammu is all set to turn into a ‘smart’ city under the recently inaugurated ‘Smart City Project’. With several Municipal services going digital, the digitisation in Jammu is gradually taking the front seat and enabling an easy lifestyle for not only the residents but also for the administration. The Integrated Command and Control Centre under the project was inaugurated by Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha. Project’s intelligent traffic management system is one of the main features that is garnering a lot of praise as it is also aiding in controlling the traffic and challan systems more effectively. The administration responsible for the system, briefed about the project and its advantages. The locals in the city further lauded the move and appreciated the efforts the government is putting.
