Dogs of breed that helped eliminate Osama to secure sensitive Delhi metro stations

New Delhi, Sept 01 (ANI): Belgian Malinois dogs, which usually accompany Central Industrial Security Force, will be deployed at Delhi metro stations from September 07 when the rail transportation resumes operations amid the COVID-19 pandemic. This is the same breed which was used to catch Osama Bin Laden during the US operation. These dogs will be deployed at sensitive stations. CISF K9 Chief Rajender Pilania said, “Belgian Malinois breed dogs have been trained in three areas: Tracking, assault and explosive detection. Primarily they will be deployed at sensitive stations.” Delhi metro will resume operations from September 07 in a phased manner.
