Durga Puja meets Irish Mythology: Behala Natun Dal in Kolkata celebrates 75 years of diplomatic ties

Kolkata (WB), October 2 (ANI): Ahead of the WB’s iconic Durga Puja, Behala Natun Dal in Kolkata is all set to host a first combination of Irish-Indian Durga Puja. Irish-Indian artists have jointly created an idol of Maa Durga along with Irish Goddess Danu. The Embassy of Ireland in New Delhi has taken this initiative to celebrate the 75th anniversary of India-Ireland diplomatic relations. The Behala Nutan Dal Durga Puja pandal features a sculpture of Goddess Danu from Irish mythology, created by Irish artists, and displayed.
