EAM Jaishankar talks on maximising opportunities provided by the contradictions of world

New Delhi, Dec 01 (ANI): External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar attended the Global Technology Summit-2022 in New Delhi on December 01. While addressing the event Jaishankar shared that every rising power looks for contradictions because if there were no contradictions, there's no space for rising power to move. Furthermore, he said that Indian foreign policy is about a relentless, unending quest to go up in the international order. He said, “The way to rise is to maximise opportunities, and opportunities are provided by the contradictions of the world...Every rising power looks for contradictions because if there were no contradictions, there's no space for rising power to move.” “Indian foreign policy is about a relentless, unending quest to go up in the international order and to do that I have to be very careful that the stresses and the challenges of the day do not fundamentally jeopardize my direction, my persona, my strategy, my sense of myself,” he added.
