Efforts are on to normalise situation of University: JNU Chief Proctor

New Delhi, Jan 06 (ANI): While speaking to ANI in Delhi, Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) Chief Proctor, Dhananjay Singh on Monday said that it is very unfortunate that there has been unabated violence in the University. He said, “We had a very good meeting today with the secretary of Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD). Efforts are on to normalise the University.” On Sunday evening, more than 18 students of the university, including JNUSU President Aishe Ghosh, were injured and were taken to the AIIMS Trauma Centre after a masked mob entered the JNU campus and attacked them and professors.
