Fake international call centre busted in Kanpur

Kanpur (UP), July 31 (ANI): The Kanpur police busted a fake international call centre in Naubasta area in Kanpur and arrested two persons on July 30. Deepak Bhuker, Additional DCP (Crime) said, "They cheated US citizens in the name of home and personal loans. Data of 2 lakh US citizens have been found from their possession. The accused received payments in form of gift cards, wire transfers, and Bitcoins. They would take USD 500-USD 2000 from a customer. They received Rs 5 lakhs worth payment in Bitcoin”.
