Famous Ambubachi Mela at Assam’s Kamakhya Temple called off due to COVID-19

Guwahati (Assam), June 22 (ANI): Famous annual Ambubachi Mela of Kamakhya Temple has been cancelled due to COVID-19 scare. It is the second time in a row that the mela has been cancelled due to the pandemic. The door of the temple will be closed till June 30 informed temple management.The Ambubachi festival is a five day annual festival held at the Kamakhya Temple in Guwahati.
