Farmers demand compensation over crop loss in Bharuch by release of chemicals

Bharuch (Gujarat), Aug 18 (ANI): Farmers in Bharuch demanded compensation over crop loss due to the release of Chemical Phenoxy compounds in the air by nearby industries in the Bharuch district of Gujarat. "Due to pollution, the crops (cotton and pigeon pea) are getting damaged. We've never seen this situation," said a farmer.
