Ferozepur biomass power plant generates electricity from paddy stubble

Ferozepur (Punjab), Oct 20 (ANI): The Ferozepur biomass power plant in Punjab is generating electricity from paddy stubble. The plant has a capacity of 18 megawatts (MW) and it uses 600 tons of stubble in a day. This plant consumes over 2 lakh tons of stubble in a year.
