May 12, 2021
Jaipur (Rajasthan) May 12 (ANI): Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot interacted with the Council of Ministers, MLAs, leaders of various political parties, Panchayati Raj representatives and others through video conference to discuss the rising number of corona cases in rural areas of the state. During the meeting, the CM said that the government is fully capable of managing the treatment of corona patients and providing them with the best medical facilities. But if the infection rises, then these facilities may also become insufficient. In such a situation, citizens should also consider their responsibility to be self-restrained to prevent infection and to follow the COVID-19 Health Protocol of maintaining two yards distance, wearing masks and staying at home. The CM stressed that the recently launched ‘Chief Minister Chiranjeevi Health Insurance Scheme’ covers the treatment of various serious diseases including COVID. He urged the public representatives to give information about this scheme to as many people as possible. CM Gehlot also called upon the legislators and the representatives of Panchayati Raj Institutions to motivate the common people to strictly follow the lockdown restrictions implemented across the state and cooperate with the state government in preventing the spread of corona pandemic.
