Foreign ambassadors delight in Gurugram’s colorful floral Holi festival

Gurugram (Haryana), March 24 (ANI): Gurugram hosted a vibrant ‘Phoolon ki Holi’ celebration on March 24 uniting diplomats from various countries in a colorful extravaganza. This unique celebration highlighted the spirit of harmony and inclusivity, fostering cross-cultural bonds amidst the joyous festival of colors. Priests were seen chanting mantras while worshipping the idol of lord Krishna and goddess Radha. They offered different types of flowers to the idols to mark the beginning of the Holi festival. People were seen dancing to the tunes of “Hare Rama Hare Krishna”. In a special interaction with ANI, Consul General of FDR Ethiopia in Mumbai, Demeke Atnafu Ambulo expressed his joy in attending the event. He said, “This is a very unique festival, and me and my family are delighted to be a part of the event.” Ambassador of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Capaya Rodríguez G said, “I am very happy to be here to be present in the Holi celebration with flowers. It is very beautiful."
