Full vaccination or negative RT-PCR report mandatory to enter Punjab

Ambala (Haryana), Aug 16 (ANI): The Punjab government on August 14 has made it mandatory for all incoming people to carry either a full COVID vaccination certificate or a negative RT-PCR report, starting from today. People are being checked at Shambhu border near Ambala after State government makes negative RT-PCR report or full vaccination certificate mandatory for entering the state. The Punjab government announced that from August 16 the State will allow entry to only those who are either fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or have a negative RT-PCR report. The new restrictions will apply to all those entering Punjab by road, rail or air.
