GBRC decodes whole genome sequence of coronavirus: Gujarat Health Secy

Gandhinagar (Gujarat), Apr 16 (ANI): Principal Health Secretary of Gujarat Jayanti Ravi informed that sequencing the whole genome of the coronavirus that led to COVID-19 is done by Gujarat Biotechnology Research Centre. She said, “Gujarat Biotechnology Research Centre (GBRC) has done the work of sequencing the whole genome of the coronavirus that led to COVID-19. This will be helpful in tracking origin, drug targets, vaccine and association with virulence. I would like to congratulate all the scientists for this important step.”
