Ghaziabad reports 157 dengue cases in November

Ghaziabad (Uttar Pradesh), Nov 14 (ANI): Ghaziabad reported 157 cases of dengue in November. Speaking to ANI, Rakesh Gupta, Assistant Chief Medical Officer, Ghaziabad said, “In Oct 2021, 600-650 cases of dengue were diagnosed but now in November, only 157 cases have been diagnosed. Beds are also vacant in hospitals. We can say that we have been successful in controlling dengue disease”. Commenting on Zika virus outbreak, Gupta added, “As far as the Zika virus is concerned the report has come from Kanpur, Lucknow and other cities. We have also prepared, if any case related to Zika virus comes to us we will treat it seriously.
