Goa CM warns those opposing hoisting of Tricolour in Goa's Sao Jacinto Island

Panaji (Goa), Aug 14 (ANI): A day after Navy officials cancelled plans to unfurl Tricolour in Goa's Sao Jacinto Island in South Goa on the Independence Day as a part of 'Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav' after residents of the Island objected to it, Chief Minister Pramod Sawant directed home department to take strict action. “I have instructed the home department to ensure that the Tricolour is unfurled there (São Jacinto Island) today and to take action against those who opposed the hoisting of the national flag by the Navy officials,” said CM Sawant.
