Grant of Rs 2,313 crores to Gaushalas in 4 years: CM Ashok Gehlot

Jaipur (Rajasthan), 23 May (ANI): On the occasion of the Milk Day ceremony, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot inaugurated the Farmers Training Center at the premises of Udaipur Milk Producers Cooperative Union in Govardhan Vilas, Udaipur. During this, the Chief Minister said that the state government has left no stone unturned in the all-round development of farmers and animal herders. Nandishalas are being opened in every Panchayat Samiti. Along with this, 5,000 dairy booths are being opened, due to which common people will get employment. On this occasion, the Chief Minister said that cattle rearers are being given a subsidy of Rs 5 per litre of milk, in which a grant of Rs 1 thousand one hundred crores has been given so far. Along with this, gaushalas are now being given subsidies for 9 months. During the event, the Chief Minister presented cheques of 1 lakh each to the members of Wali Samiti and Pithalpura Samiti under the Secretary Welfare Fund. Along with this, he also presented an FD of Rs 5,500 to the milk producer members under Saras Ladli Yojana. Apart from this, he also honoured the committees which got first, second and third places in maximum milk collection by giving them certificates and mementos.
