Amid the challenges caused by unseasonal rains in Gujarat, the state government has acted promptly and sensitively to support affected farmers. Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel has directed early completion of crop damage surveys and assured a relief package soon. Across districts, administrative teams are ensuring timely aid and fair compensation. In Mahisagar, 383 teams are conducting field assessments; in Tapi, relief efforts are nearing completion; and in Botad, 74% of the survey work in 189 villages is done. Under the Chief Minister’s leadership, the swift and coordinated response highlights the government’s strong commitment to farmers’ welfare, ensuring that no cultivator is left without assistance amid this agricultural adversity.
