Happy to win medal for country: PV Sindhu

Tokyo (Japan), Aug 02 (ANI): Olympic medalist Shuttler PV Sindhu expressed her happiness after winning a bronze medal at the ongoing Tokyo Olympics in the women's singles event, in an interview via video conference. She said, “I am very happy. Getting a medal for the country and that too back to back in 2016 and now in Tokyo, I am very happy for the medal”. Sindhu on August 01 became the first Indian woman to win two Olympic medals. Park Tae-Sang, South Korean badminton player and coach of shuttler PV Sindhu said, “Sindhu is already India's big star, a big Olympic star. So, I got ready for the pressure, but I tried, I am also really happy because, for the first time in my coaching career, my player got a medal. I am really happy I believed in her and she did it”.
