High-tech machines boost silk production in Srinagar

Srinagar (J-K), Nov 05 (ANI): Hi-tech machinery improved the overall quality and quantity of silk production in Kashmir. The silk factory in Rajbagh was badly damaged due to floods, but with apt assistance from Government of India and J&K Administration, the silk factory was restored to its past glory with imported high-tech machinery. Authorities are also ensuring proper training of the existing technical staff to boost their efficiency. In the Rajbagh silk factory, dying facility is also available which helps employees in producing coloured silk for suits and sarees.
