Historic Ashoka Pillar surrounded by rainwater in Bihar’s Vaishali district

Vaishali (Bihar), Sep 01 (ANI): After incessant rains in Bihar’s Vasihali, the famous Ashoka Pillar was left surrounded by rainwater along with the entire archaeological complex. The locals and caretakers of the historical site fear that the 18.3-metre-tall pillar built by Samrat Ashoka could face damages.
