Srinagar, March 29 (ANI): A Srinagar-based food service ‘Tiffin Aaw’ started a free food distribution initiative ‘Iftaar Meri Taraf Se’ in Srinagar. They distribute free food at the time of Iftar and Sehri, especially in hospitals and other places. Rayees Ahmad, who is the owner of Tiffin Aaw, started this homemade food service three years ago. He distributed food in hospitals during COVID-19 which was appreciated all over. Now the holy month of Ramadan is going on worldwide, and Muslims keep fasting during this day. They take the food at 4:30 am, called Sehri and break the fast at 6:45 pm, called Iftar. At these times, many people in hospitals and other busy places face problems in taking meals exactly at Sehri and Iftaar time. Tiffin Aaw gives them free food. Many people also approach them and donate to them for their services. People also call them for their services at night hours. They gave their services 24x7 in Srinagar city and if any needy person calls them then they deliver their food to home. People appreciated the initiative of free food distribution and appealed to others to come forward to support this type of initiative in Kashmir, especially during Ramadan.
