Washington DC (USA), April 22 (ANI): Following the ‘unofficial’ visit of US Congresswoman Ilhan Omar to Pakistan and her meeting with recently ousted Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan, Counsellor to US Secretary of State Derek Chollet, while talking to ANI cleared the air about the same and said that it does represent US government policy change. “US Congresswoman Ilhan Omar's meeting with recently ousted Pak PM and her "unofficial, personal" visit to PoK does not represent any policy change on behalf of the United States government,” he said. Notably, Omar, a Somali American who belongs to President Joe Biden's Democratic Party, had after her visit to PoK said Kashmir should get more attention from the United States, which elicited stern condemnation from India.
