India has 70% of total tiger population of world, one of our soft powers: Javadekar

New Delhi, July 28 (ANI): Union Environment Minister Prakash Javadekar and MoS Babul Supriyo released report of Tiger Census at National Media Centre in the national capital on July 28. The report is released ahead of International Tiger Day. The International Tiger Day will be celebrated on July 29. While addressing at the event, Prakash Javadekar said, “India has 70% of the total tiger population of the world. India should be proud of it. This is one of our soft powers.” “We have 30,000 elephants, 3000 one-horned rhinos and more than 500 lions,” he added.
