India logs 15,786 new COVID cases, 231 deaths in a day

New Delhi, Oct 22 (ANI): India reported 15,786 new COVID-19 cases on October 22. 231 people died due to coronavirus. Death toll stood at 4,53,042. Active caseload stands at 1,75,745. The total recoveries have climbed to 3,35,14,449 after 18,641 people were discharged from the hospital in the last 24 hours. 1,00,59,04,580 vaccine doses have been administered across the country.
