India logs 18,454 new COVID cases in a day

New Delhi, Oct 21 (ANI): India reported 18,454 new COVID-19 cases on October 21. 160 people died due to coronavirus. Death toll stood at 4,52,811. Active caseload stands at 1,78,831. The total recoveries have climbed to 3,34,95,808 after 17,561 people were discharged from the hospital in the last 24 hours. India has administered over one billion COVID vaccine doses.
