Indian manufacturing sector has potential to reach 1 trillion dollar by 2025: Rajnath Singh

New Delhi, Mar 07 (ANI): Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on March 7 attended the Business Global Summit-2020 in Delhi. While addressing the gathering, he said that India is aiming to increase the manufacturing sector to 25 per cent of the Gross Domestic Product by 2022. The manufacturing sector has the potential to reach 1 trillion dollar by 2025. “We are currently 2.5 trillion dollar economy and ambitiously aiming to become 5 trillion dollar economy by 2024. India’s FDI an inflow has been increasingly consistently standing at 44.3637 billion dollar in 2018-19,” said Singh.
