Indian Mission in Nepal celebrates 152nd Gandhi Jayanti

Kathmandu (Nepal), Oct 03, 2021, (ANI): Marking the 152nd birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi as Gandhi Jayanti, the Indian Mission in Nepal has organized series of events where an art exhibition on the theme “Mahatma Gandhi’s philosophy for a better world” was inaugurated by Charge d’affaires Ms. Namgya Khampa at Nepal Art Council.The exhibition is being organized by Shivata Love Foundation in support of B.P. Koirala India-Nepal Foundation (BPKF) and will be thrown open to the public from October 3 to 8, 2021. A 'Blood Donation Camp' was also organized by National Hospital and Cancer Research Centre and Indian Citizens Association of Nepal (ICAN) in association with Embassy of India at Agrawal Bhawan, Kamalpokhari, Kathmandu. Noted actor, Manisha Koirala graced the occasion and shared her experiences and perspective about fighting against cancer. Officers of the Embassy paid floral tribute to Mahatma Gandhi at his statue within the Embassy premises.
