Indian traditional medicines’ demand spikes to build immunity amid coronavirus

Chennai (Tamil Nadu), Apr 24 (ANI): The ministry of AYUSH (Ayurveda, Yoga and Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and Homoeopathy) is pushing traditional medicines to improve immunity amid the coronavirus pandemic. The medicine factory at Chennai, Indian Medical Practitioners Co-operative Pharmacy and Store (IMPCOPS), has also increased their production. CEO of IMPCOPS, Dr.Kader Mohideen said, “Agasthya Rasayanam medicine is recommended by Ayush ministry to increase the immunity in the wake of coronavirus.” “Each one every ingredients of extract is tested in the lab research,” the CEO further said.
