India’s COVID-19 mortality rate at 3.2% is one of the lowest in world: Health Minister

New Delhi, May 12 (ANI): Union Minister for Health and Family Welfare Harsh Vardhan on May 12 informed that country’s recovery rate from dreadful COVID-19 is getting better every day. “Today our recovery rate is at 31.7%,” said Harsh Vardhan. Emphasizing on mortality rate of India being one of the lowest in the world, he added, “Today, the mortality rate is around 3.2%. In several states it is even less than this. Global fatality rate is around 7-7.5%.”
