India’s ship ‘Nanda Devi’ with LPG arrives in Jamnagar passing through Strait of Hormuz

Jamnagar (Gujarat), March 17, 2026(ANI): In a major diplomatic achievement, LPG tanker Nanda Devi has arrived at Vadinar (Jamnagar) port on March 17. This development has come in times when global oil supply disrupted in Strait of Hormuz amid Iran war. This India LPG tanker Nanda Devi carrying about 46,500 MT LPG LPG for ship-to-ship transfer at the anchorage. Deendayal Port Authority Chairman Sushil Kumar Singh visited on board the vessel to facilitate & interact with Captain & crew. It is seen as big relief in the country amid ongoing LPG crunch due to Iran war in the Middle East. Two Indian vessels carrying LPG have arrived for transit through the Strait of Hormuz, according to Iranian authorities.
