Indore (Madhya Pradesh), Mar 16 (ANI): Masks are being manufactured in Indore’s central jail. Amid the scarcity of masks in country, these masks are being sold for Rs 10 each. 10 jail inmates are making these masks and around 500 units are manufactured in a day. These three-layer masks are provided to inmates and jail staff and they are available for sale in market as well. Jail inmates also underwent medical testing as the coronavirus scare has gripped the world. Deputy Superintendent of Indore Central Jail said, “Jail administration and our inmates decided to create masks which are being sold at a high price in market. Our aim is to make the inmates and jail staff safe against coronavirus. We will sell these masks to the family of jail inmates and when we have extra stock of masks, we will sell them by putting up a counter outside the jail”.
