‘It’s good to be back home’: Flyers express happiness on resumption of domestic flights

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh) / Panaji (Goa) / Ghaziabad (Uttar Pradesh), May 25 (ANI): After a gap of two months due to COVID-19 lockdown, Civil Aviation Ministry decided to resume domestic flights in India from May 25. Passengers boarded their flights from their respective airports to meet their near and dear ones. Proper precautionary measures were taken at each airport due to coronavirus pandemic. Passengers were seen wearing masks and their luggage were being disinfected as part of the precautionary measures. One of the passengers said, “I was stranded in Gurugaon since March and now I came back here. It was an overall good experience. They have maintained social distancing and were checking thoroughly. I am feeling so good after coming back home. ” The other one said, “Finally, we came back here. I am so happy today.” An extended nation-wide lockdown is imposed till May 31 due to coronavirus pandemic.
